3. Structural Description

3.1 Machine Frame

1. Housing: Fabricated by welding, fully annealed, precision machined all over. High rigidity, non-deformable; sliding surfaces are smooth, flat and wear-resistant.
2. Base: Welded base, annealed then precision machined, featuring excellent rigidity and anti-deformation performance.

3.2 Rolls & Bearing Assemblies

1. Roll structure: Hollow smooth roll
2. Material: Alloy chilled cast iron LTH-H
3. Hardness: 68–72 HSD
4. Chilled layer thickness: 10–25 mm
5. Main bearing: Four-row radial cylindrical roller bearing (Wafangdian Metallurgical Bearing)
6. Bearing housing: Cast, tempered and machined, equipped with lubrication oil ports

8. Roll temperature control adopts high-quality rotary joints and stainless steel metal hoses

3.3 Gap Adjustment Device

3. Gap adjustment applies to the 1st, 2nd and 4th rolls; both-side synchronous adjustment or single-side independent adjustment is available.
